Level
You ride your mountain bike regularly and are proficient at braking. You are able to choose the right line when riding downhill, anticipate obstacles (rocks, roots, etc.) and handle tight turns. We will climb on various paths (trails, dirt roads, roads) and descend on singletracks that may include obstacles, sometimes steep descents, and possible scree passages. To get the most out of this trip, you should engage in regular physical activity (2-3 hours per week). The days cover between 20 and 30 km with 1,200 to 1,700 m of elevation gain per day.
Day by day
Day 1: 22 km / 1,200 m elevation gain / 1,700 m elevation loss
At 9 a.m., we set off for Le Cuvy! After a short shuttle ride, we start pedaling: 300 m of elevation gain on a forest trail to warm up. Then it's off for our first single track, offering varied and enjoyable riding. We then tackle a 900m climb, a perfect mix of road, track and single track, until we reach an incredible ridge overlooking the Cormet de Roselend dam. We take the time to enjoy the view, take a few breaks, and savor a well-deserved picnic. Finally, it's time for the descent: 1,400 meters of elevation loss on a smooth, technical, and playful single track for a spectacular end to the ride!
Day 2: 37km / 1,400m elevation gain / 2,600m elevation loss
At 9 a.m., we take the shuttle to Cormet de Roselend! Upon arrival, we tackle a 500m single track with elevation gain that leads us to a breathtaking ridge. Panoramic views of the mountains guaranteed! Then it's time for a technical 900m descent to have some fun. After a well-deserved picnic, we tackle a more hilly section before a climb on the road. But our efforts are rewarded with a magnificent 1500m descent to finish in style!
Day 3: 34km / 1,100m elevation gain / 2,100m elevation loss
At 9 a.m., we set off from Les Saisies! The shuttle drops us off and we start with a short warm-up on a rolling trail that takes us to a balcony offering breathtaking views of Mont Blanc. We continue with a rolling descent and then tackle a more technical climb to reach a breathtaking single track. Imagine pedaling on a winding ribbon of earth between the fir trees. The atmosphere is reminiscent of British Columbia, with root-covered passages and hairpin turns that will put you to the test. After this memorable descent, we climb gently back up a forest trail to catch our breath before tackling a final, more varied descent, combining fast sections and technical sections.
