Snowshoe outing (discovery for all)
Presentation
After assisting with snowshoe fitting and giving the first tips, we’ll head out for your first steps on the snow. We’ll experience ascents and descents, with some fun passages along the way. And we’ll likely spot some footprints from our local wildlife…
- Meeting Point: 2 pm in front of the Signal Aquatic Center at Col des Saisies
- Skill/Physical Effort Level: Easy. Introductory/family outing. Open to all.
- Guidance: The group will be between 4 and 12 people, led by a certified mountain guide.
EQUIPMENT FOR THE DAY :
- Snowshoes and poles (not provided by the guide)
- Warm, snow-appropriate boots
- Warm clothing: fleece, down jacket, gloves, hat
- Sunglasses, cap, sunscreen
- Waterproof/windproof jacket
- Warm hiking pants (or with tights underneath)
- Gaiters (recommended)
- Hiking backpack (at least 30 liters)
- Water bottle (at least 1L)
- Cereal bars/snacks
