Presentation

This day outside the resort of Les Saisies will allow us to discover wild and uncrowded places, accessible only on foot in winter...
We will take the time during our day to discover the heart of Beaufortain and we can approach the dam of Lake Saint Guérin.
The location of the outing could be modified depending on the snow conditions and the state of the roads.

Meeting at 9:00 am at the Frison Roche square in Beaufort. Personal vehicle to be provided. Carpooling possible to organize.

Level / physical effort: Average. Intermediate level. About 450m of positive elevation gain. 4 to 5 hours of walking. Return parking around 3:30 PM.

Supervision: The group consists of 4 to 10 people maximum, provided by a qualified mountain guide.

EQUIPMENT FOR THE DAY:

Snowshoes and sticks (not provided by the guide)
Hiking bag (minimum 30 liters)
Pairs of warm shoes suitable for snow
Warm things: fleece, down jacket, gloves, hat, warm hiking pants (or with tights)
Gaiters (recommended)
Waterproof/Windproof jacket 
Water bottle (about 1 liter)
Headlamp charged if you have (loan of frontal possible by the attendant)
